ROLE
A technical architect in Lovepop involves
designing and overseeing complex IT systems to meet business requirements, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and efficient
. Key responsibilities include defining system architecture, selecting technologies, and creating technical strategies. The role also involves bridging the gap between management and technical teams, mentoring developers, and ensuring project progress and quality standards are met.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Continuously deliver results that raise the bar for customers.
Own the solution lifecycle end to end. Manage complex, high- impact projects. Lead multiple initiatives with Product, Design, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Engineering. Partner with PMs on strategy and roadmap. Drive planning, prioritization, and on- time delivery.
Foster an innovative engineering culture that emphasizes technical excellence and operational rigor.
Co- design architectures with senior engineers. Set and enforce coding, documentation, and review standards. Ensure designs meet requirements and ship on schedule. Run agile rituals and balance feature work with operational excellence. Identify practical AI uses to improve scale and quality.
Build exceptional A+ development teams
Hire and develop top talent in Vietnam. Mentor engineers and scientists; guide design trade- offs and prioritization. Shape the org for speed and clarity. Apply AI tools and practices to boost team productivity and reduce hiring needs. Propose solutions that benefit Lovepop customers and the business.
Build strong relationships between technology and the stakeholders that we serve.
Partner with business teams to uncover customer and process improvements. Educate non- technical stakeholders on constraints and risks. Validate assumptions, ask clarifying questions, and ensure we’re building the right features.

QUALIFICATIONS
Area of experience: The area of experience for technical architecture spans areas like
infrastructure, software, networks, and data
, focusing on designing and overseeing complex IT systems that align with business goals. Key responsibilities include analyzing and troubleshooting technical issues, defining best practices, managing security, and translating business requirements into technical solutions like databases, networks, and application systems. Architects often specialize in areas such as cloud, mobile, or security, and their experience level determines whether they focus on specific projects or broader enterprise- level strategy.
MUST- HAVE (CORE)
Security & privacy: least- privilege IAM, KMS encryption, secret management (Secrets Manager/SSM), PII handling/redaction.
Data modeling and integration: relational schemas, caching strategies, versioned data contracts (events/APIs), migration playbooks.
AWS depth across: ECS Fargate or Lambda; API Gateway/ALB; RDS/Aurora (Postgres); ElastiCache/Redis; SQS/EventBridge; CloudFront/WAF; IAM.
Strong in .NET/C (primary) and comfortable with Node/TypeScript (secondary); solid testing practices.
Excellent written design docs/ADRs, architecture diagrams, and cross- functional communication (Product, Ops, Support).
CI/CD & IaC: CircleCI (or similar), Terraform, artifact/version management, blue/green or canary deploys.
Public speaking/tech writing; Experience in mentoring engineers., leading teams, looking around corners, devops experience, history of driving efficiency and optimization. Ability to simplify architecture and systems.
Proven distributed systems design: APIs (REST/GraphQL), event- driven patterns (queues/pub- sub, retries, DLQs, idempotency).
8–12+ years building production software; 3–5+ years in an architect/staff/lead role.
Reliability & observability: define SLOs/SLIs, instrument logs/metrics/traces (Datadog/CloudWatch), burn- rate alerts, incident response.
NICE- TO- HAVE (DOMAIN & EXTRAS)
Experimentation/feature flags, A/B testing guardrails.
DDD/event- sourced or CQRS exposure where it fits.
E- commerce domain: Shopify Admin/Storefront APIs, metafields, webhooks; subscriptions (e.g., Skio), 3PL/fulfillment.
