Technical Designer (Garment /1-3 Years Of Experience)

• Track and manage workflow and workload for own product
• Work closely with cross- functioning teams to ensure all information is correct
• Ability to communicate fit and balance issues via pattern diagram or directly on pattern
• Measure samples received from prototype stage through pre- production and prepare for fitting
• Create easily understandable comments using written and visual methods
• Identify potential product, quality, and costing issues and make appropriate recommendations
• Execute fit comments in a timely manner to ensure the proper process aligned with production and action timelines
• Maintain professional and timely email correspondence with factory and global brands
• Collaborate with cross- functioning teams to gain clear direction and consensus of fit intent
• Audit construction and quality of product to ensure samples have proper construction for garment category and fabrication

• Having experience in using 3D software as a bonus (Clo3D, Browzwear, etc.).
• Having experience in using pattern programs (Optitex, Style cad, etc.)
• Ability to identify issues and create solutions outside of established parameters and guidelines.
• Having experience in using a product development technical specification program (PDM, PLM etc).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word etc.).
• Knowledge of factories, manufacturing techniques, and machinery.
• Knowledge of knit garment patternmaking, construction, fit, and grading.
• 1- 3 years of experience as a technical designer (accepting full time interns for new graduate/ final years student with fashion major)
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical education in garment fit and construction to degree level or equivalent work experience.
