RESPONSIBILITIES:
Optimization:

Create, manage, and update cutting files for production.
Ensure effective material usage and reduce waste through smart nesting strategies.
Define which CNC machine is the best machine to run particular components
Optimize CNC cutting layouts, laser cutting layouts by using software on wood CNC machines and laser cutting machine
Analyze cutting performance and propose improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.

Data Management

Maintain database of nesting files and update cutting instructions when BOM or product designs change.

Coordination

Follow up on cutting progress and adjust nesting plans based on actual yield.
Collaborate with Planning, Production, and Technical teams to align nesting plans with actual material usage and production schedules.

Technical Support

Participate in improvement projects related to production efficiency and material usage.
Support engineers and operators in interpreting cutting layouts and resolving file issues.

Analytical thinking and problem- solving skills in production optimization.
Basic English for reading technical documents is preferred.
Proficiency in Cutting Optimization Pro and technical drawing software (AutoCAD, Inventor).
College or University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Furniture Technology, or related technical fields.
Understanding of CNC machine operations and production workflow.
At least 3- 5 years of experience in CNC cutting, nesting optimization, or production engineering in furniture industry.
Strong knowledge of nesting logic and material optimization techniques.
Proactive and able to work independently or in coordination with other departments.
Attention to detail and ability to work with technical data and cutting plans.
