Technical & Product Development Manager

Analyzing sketches and samples, understanding customers requirement and guiding the team to develop samples accordingly, ensuring viability for bulk production.
Keeping abreast of the developments in the cushion/ sofa manufacturing field and related technological areas, assessing feasibility for use the factory and advising the management on these developments
Set up procedures related to TD (cushion, garments)
Providing technical advice (sewing techniques, critical quality points ect) to relevant staff and resolving critical day to day operational and technical issues in coordination with the production teams to facilitate the smooth transition of the production process.

Reviewing all relevant processes and suggesting improvements to continuously enhance the process in the factory
Coordinating and leading all meetings, following up on all preproduction activities to proactively identify and solve all technical and operational issues related to new product, whilst ensuring the operations in bulk production flow smoothly, taking initiative for process flow from the point of product development the pilot run.
Ensuring that all relevant information is maintained accurately and all required management reports and documents are prepared and submit timely manner.
Working closely with the plant managers/ the production manager on order inquiries, assessing the do- ability of the product, advising on resource requirements (such as machines , attachments , and skills) and providing feedback to the SC on order acceptance.
Deciding on all technical specifications for the cushion/ garments including the construction and operation sequence, the machinea and methods to meet the customer’s expectation.
Coordinating and communicating with the customer on product related issues pertaining to fit construction, technical specifications and raw material ect … and subsequently clarifying the requirements and recommending alternate value added options to the customer to arrive at a mutually beneficial solution.
Leading, directing and motivating the team whilst monitoring team performance and providing feedback with the objective of ensuring that team capabilities meet present and future organizational requirements.

Bachelor degree in related field.
Good knowledge in reading customer protocols and products development for textile, garment industry. Then from there, build up spec, technical aspects and protocols for our cushion products.
Having minimum 3 year experience in textile industry (garment, cushion company).

*Transportation: HCM, Binh Duong and Bien Hoa to factory
