Technical Product Manager

• Education and qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering (Computer, Software, Electronics or Communications) or Computer Science degree

1. Platform Development Strategy: Develop and refine the strategic roadmap for the continuous enhancement and evolution of proprietary trading platforms, aligning with the company's business goals and market demands.


2. Feature Prioritization: Prioritize features and functionalities based on market research, customer feedback, and business objectives, ensuring that development efforts are focused on high-impact areas.


3. Technical Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders including traders, developers, and analysts to gather and define detailed technical requirements for platform enhancements and new features.


4. Platform Integration: Oversee the integration of proprietary trading platforms with MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, and the DX trading platform, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow between systems.


5. Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyse platform performance metrics, identify areas for optimization, and collaborate with development teams to implement performance improvements.


6. Risk Management: Implement risk management features and controls within the trading platforms, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.


7. Security Enhancement: Work closely with cybersecurity experts to enhance the security posture of proprietary trading platforms, mitigating potential vulnerabilities and threats.


8. User Experience (UX) Design: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for traders, optimizing the user experience and enhancing platform usability.


9. Quality Assurance (QA): Define and implement QA processes and procedures to ensure the reliability, stability, and accuracy of proprietary trading platforms, conducting thorough testing and validation.


10. Release Management: Coordinate release schedules and deployment processes for platform updates and new releases, minimizing downtime and disruption to trading activities.


11. Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and documentation for traders and internal stakeholders, facilitating the adoption of new platform features and functionalities.


12. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and technology partners involved in the development and maintenance of trading platforms, ensuring effective collaboration and adherence to service level agreements.


13. Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory developments and compliance requirements relevant to proprietary trading platforms, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.


14. Performance Monitoring: Implement monitoring tools and systems to track platform performance in real-time, proactively identifying and addressing issues to maintain optimal uptime and reliability.


15. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the proprietary trading platform landscape, informing product development decisions.


16. Data Analytics: Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyse trading data and derive actionable insights, guiding product enhancements and decision-making processes.


17. Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and iterate on proprietary trading platforms based on user feedback, performance metrics, and market dynamics, driving ongoing improvement and innovation.

1. English Proficiency: Solid written and spoken English skills are paramount.


2. Customer Interaction: Ability to work with English-speaking customers from Australia and Eastern Europe.


3. Experience in Forex trading, popular market applications and tools.


4. Real-time Trading Platforms: Experience in supporting real-time trading platforms, customer support and interaction.


5. Team Collaboration: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.


6. Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.


7. [Preferred] RUST commercial/business programming experience.
