Test Development Engineer

Review requirements, test specifications, technical documents for test coverage and improvement.
Verification and Validation of production Testers, Fixture and processes.
Design, Develop and Document Software and Hardware for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) to test electronics PCBA’s and assemblies.
Implement continuous improvement in FPY, Cost and Quality.
Study the RMA failures and improve the test coverage as necessary.
Prepare the Test plans and Test proposal based on customer requirement and test documents.
Perform the Design for Test (DFT) analysis and suggest / improve the test coverage.
Ability to reverse engineering (hardware and software) existing testers and improve.
Interact with Overseas customers and Design Teams.
Provide technical support to Test Sustaining Engineers/ Test Technician in tester breakdown and failure analysis.
Prepare TDE quote based on Test specification, Product schematic diagram.

-A Bachelor degree with more than 5 Years (Electrical/Electronics/ Instrumentation/Automation Engineering) is must or Diploma with more than 10 years.
-Familiar with NI LabVIEW or Python (NI CLAD, CLD certificate is desired)
-Experience in Electronic Hardware Manufacturing Industry. (Mandatory)
-Strong understanding of Structural and functional test of PCBA. (Mandatory)
-Experience in using Analytic and systematic problem solving tools.
-Knowledge of DFx processes.
-PCB design and Layout experience is added advantage.
-Exposure to CAD and mechanical design is added advantage.
-Fluent in English and Chinese is added advantage.
-Good team working spirit
