RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Test Factory Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the efficient operation of our Test Factory, ensuring that it delivers high- quality testing services. Your responsibilities will include:
Factory Operations: Oversee day- to- day operations of the Test Factory, applying the common operating model in line with established processes and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Budget Control: Develop and manage the budget for the Test Factory, tracking expenses and resource utilization, with a focus on cost optimization.
Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in testing processes, ensuring compliance with internal processes, industry standards and regulations.
Compliance: Ensure that the Test Factory complies with industry standards, data security regulations, and any other relevant guidelines.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of test leads, test factory stream leads, skilled test engineers and technicians to ensure a cohesive and productive work environment. Supervise the successful operations of the factory and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest testing technologies, methodologies, and industry trends to keep the Test Factory at the forefront of the industry.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them, ensuring uninterrupted testing services. Handle regional escalations related to the Test Factory.
Efficiency Enhancement: Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency, reduce testing cycle times, and lower operational costs. Optimize costs while maintaining high testing quality. Participate regularly and actively in the cross- region capitalization and orchestration forum, along with the Test Factory Managers of the other regions.
Resource Management: Manage and optimize resources, including hardware, software, and human resources, to maximize testing capacity. Manage budget and staffing needs per region.
Reporting and Documentation: Generate reports on testing progress, quality metrics, and other relevant data for senior management and clients.
REQUIREMENTS
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
Certifications: Relevant certifications in software testing and quality assurance are desirable.
Banking Capital Markets Knowledge: Strong understanding of the banking capital markets industry and related software products.
Quality and Compliance: A deep commitment to quality and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Education: Bachelor&039;s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master&039;s degree is a plus.
Budget Management: Proficient in budget development and cost control, with the ability to manage budget and staffing needs per region.
Process Improvement: Experience in process optimization, with a track record of enhancing efficiency and reducing operational costs.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role within a test center or IT operations environment.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem- solving and analytical skills to identify and mitigate risks.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team effectively. Ability to supervise the successful operations of the factory.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, as it is mandatory for this role. Vietnamese is a plus.
