*Objective of job:
Cooperate to ensure the availability of production- supporting equipment/systems.
*Principle activities:
• Identification and elimination (as specified) of vulnerabilities and development of proposals for improvement measures for equipment / systems.
• Assemble, start- up and relocate complex equipment / systems in the production plant in concert with customer requirements and specifications (e.g., equipment engineering specifications, etc.) while taking account of deadlines and quality.
• Ensure the implementation of all relevant audit requirements as well as internal and external quality standards and implementation of countermeasures in case of deviations and improvement potentials.
• Observance and compliance with all relevant processes and work instructions in the area of responsibility.
• Collaborate to analyze complex problems / faults on complex equipment / systems, if necessary using diagnostic systems.
• Mounting, installing / removing and adjusting complex assemblies / components in equipment.
• Implement and document very difficult maintenance, repair and overhaul work on very complex equipment / systems as specified.
• Implementation and documentation of changes or corrections to machine controls and machining programs as well as parameterization with preparation of the respective data sheets as specified.
• Establish spare part and wear part requirements, dispose parts purchases.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory safety regulations (in particular the Occupational Health and Safety Act as well as environmental protection) and the central DRX specifications.
• Collaborate to ensure information flows within the involved departments and to supervisors.
• Eliminate / have eliminated malfunctions (for example process failures, etc.) on machinery and equipment (e.g. tool breakage, etc.).
• Execution and documentation of checks for correct operation (e.g. mechanical, electrical, etc.) and test runs for equipment / systems.
*Workplace equipment (e.g. requirements related to occupational safety, etc.):
On the production shop floor

• Specialized knowledge / education:
Qualified license/Low voltage electrical certificates for electrical engineer
Vocational/technical training on Automation/ Mechatronics
• Work experience:
Several years of experience on the job with additional technical/vocational training in a specialized field specialized knowledge and insight required for the application of practical methods and techniques, work procedures and processes; seasoned to master of skilled trade)
• Additional knowledge:
Some differing tasks with several potential solutions, including analysis of the situation/causes
- Experience with the use of measuring instruments (eg. multimeter, oscilloscope…) to search and isolate hardware problems independently.
