Tester (QA/QC)

Forix is looking for an experienced Tester (QA/QC) to join our award- winning team that specializes in providing ongoing ecommerce support and development services using Magento, Bigcommerce, Shopify to clients around the world.
In this position you will be responsible for testing complex web applications to ensure proper functionality. Candidates with a strong performance in this position typically have an opportunity to advance into Project Manager Assistant or Project Management roles within the company.
Job Description

Manage testing schedule
Provide estimates for testing task times and meeting durations.
Troubleshoot and assess test issues to determine failure points.
Work closely with our development team to ensure delivery of quality implementations.
Create and execute test cases based on project specifications (functional, application, and regression).
Identify potential project risks and provide recommendations to mitigate risks.
Report and document bugs/issues in a clear, timely, and concise manner.
Escalate project issues to management when appropriate.

Advanced English proficiency is needed
Solid understanding of various testing types and techniques are needed.
Comprehensive verbal and written communication skills are needed.
Experience testing on eCommerce websites and CMS systems.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a web testing position is required.
Experience with Magento/Big Commerce/Shopify is a big plus.
Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills are a must.
