Trade Lane Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monthly reporting and analysis of business budgets, status, progress and plans –and WINS
In close collaboration with customers in general and strategic customers in particular, explore new business opportunities to broaden and execute on business potential.
Take up additional assignments/tasks as required to meet with the Company needs.
Support in the continuous development of the trade lane concept within Air & Sea in alignment and cooperation with the company.
Attend networking events and build industry connections in order to support the business growth, with a focus on and from defined markets and trade lane.
Business intelligence surveillance in the market to ensure constant track of competitor situation and use of knowledge to promote Company strategic priorities and opportunities in close collaboration with COO.
Collaborating with trade lane partner countries, route management and regional/global resources to ensure products on each trade lane are initially competitive.
Development of standardized trade lane products including expansion of product/mode suite as well as ownership of the dynamic pricing process as well as close collaboration with Route management to execute.
Development and deployment of defined commercial lane strategy, supporting commercial strategic direction maximize overall profitability.
Expertise in country facts and knowledge, economic geography skills, competitor information, key and target accounts.
Partner across the entire organization to support both growth / pipeline build up towards the commercial goals and priorities.

REQUIREMENTS:

Fluent in English, Vietnamese a plus
Foreign national or oversea resident a plus
5+ years experience in business development in forwarding industry
Preferred already based in Vietnam
US trade lane experience a plus
Proven track record of securing commercial results in a mid- sized commercial organization, ideally with international working experience
Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills, commercially driven
