Training Manager/ Assistant Training Manager responsibilities include enhancing employees’ skills, performance, productivity and quality of work.
We are looking for an experienced Training Manager/ Assistant Training Manager to devise our organizational training strategy, oversee its implementation and assess its outcomes. You will identify training and developmental needs and drive suitable training initiatives that build loyalty to the firm.
Coordinates functions and activities with other department heads and department trainers.
Other tasks assigned by Human Resources Manager
Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids and other educational materials.
Interacts with individuals outside the hotel including, but not limited to training association members, training, and personnel staff from competitor hotels and other members of the local community.
Identify training and development needs through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with department heads, human resource and General Manager.
Conduct or arrange for orientation programs, ongoing technical training and personal development classes for hosts.
Analyse training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.
Work in a team to design and expand training and development programmes based on the needs of the resort and hosts.
Evaluate instructor performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement.
Make daily, weekly, monthly training reports providing feedback to the General Manager, Human Resources Manager of respective departments.
Avoid any extra expense to be incurred on training and training materials; strictly adhere to the budget obligations.
Plan, develop and provide training and host development programs using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on- the- job trainings, meetings, role plays, scripted service verbiages and workshops.
Confer with management and conduct surveys to identify training needs based on projected requirements.
Amend and revise programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment.
Make annual training plan and training calendar for individual departments with action plans.
