Transport Manager

- Develops or improves domestic transport with customers or related functions.
- Support Solutions Manager in creating innovative domestic transport solutions, including backhaul, drop- out trailers, outbound delivery, and multi- temperature fresh transport units.
- Achieves satisfactory complaints resolution results.
- Resolves complaints promptly.
- Identifies training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department.
- Implements training plans and career path policies to meet training and development KPIs.
- Achieves customer KPIs.
- Cooperates with HR and L&D to achieve training targets for the business location.
- Develops team spirit and multitasking capabilities within the team.
- Collaborates with CL to satisfy customers.
- Determines team structure, roles, performance targets, and goals.
- Selects, supervises, and monitors transport subcontractors and suppliers.
- Participates in customer strategic planning and budgeting.
- Maintains good relationships with DC operations, subcontractors, and customers.
- Collaborates with BD to support BD strategy and gain in- country support.
- Manages related main and value- added services to meet customer requirements.
- Achieves internal and external transport KPIs.
- Ensures compliance with the SOP manual and HSE policies and procedures.
- Develops and implements best practice standard working procedures.
- Achieves or fully meets EBIT as budgeted.
- Coaches and mentors transport staff to improve their working skills.
- Ensures compliance with DHL QA and HSE policies.
- Ensures timely implementation of projects.
- Ensures compliance with company rules and regulations.
- Completes all deliveries according to customer requirements.
- Leads and manages transport operations.
- Determines strategy and operational business plans for transport.

- Degree in a relevant discipline.
- International business exposure/experience.
- Leadership demonstrated through effective communication and the ability to influence outcomes across multiple regional locations.
- At least 5 years in Logistics and Transport Management or a related field.
- Detailed experience in Supply Chain Management.
- Strategic Management and Planning skills.
- Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize under pressure.
