Treasury Lead - Securities Firm

Overview:

Treasury Lead is responsible for portfolio management and fixed income trading for Finhay Group and its subsidiaries. In particular, this position provides trading capacity for the firm’s entire cash books across various fixed income instruments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform ongoing monitoring of the investment portfolio including risk reporting, trade ideas, and asset allocation analysis;
Construct portfolio management strategies based on the analytic solutions of investment objectives and constraints- ALM, liquidity management, etc;
Conduct economic, investment, and credit research to support investment and risk management decision- making;
Communicate with brokers/traders from counterparties and other firms;
Contribute market color and spread data to investment discussions;
Invest cash balances for the client accounts and firm’s liquidity;
Work closely with related middle- back office;
Perform other job- related duties and special projects as required.

Qualifications:
Essential skills

Strong analytical, quantitative, and technological skills;
Solid understanding of fixed income securities, markets, and trading strategies;
Honest, careful, teamwork spirit, and strong work ethic.
Ability to work in high- pressure work environment and within the given time constraints;
Excellent communication (verbal and written), time management, analytics, and financial modeling skills;

Educational background

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related majors required;
CFA Charter (at least level 2) and MBA (preferred).

Professional experiences:

Strong PC skills including a broad knowledge of spreadsheets, database, and other applicable software;
Previous computer programing experience combined with familiarity with programming languages preferred;
4+ years of related experience consisting of trading and portfolio management (Investment grade specific experience is strongly preferred);
Fluent in English;
A training program covering business math and polishing the quantitative skills would be a great plus.
