• Regularly communicate with the golf operations team throughout the day to ensure the smooth running of the tee sheet.
• To proactively re- merchandise the shop layout on a regular basis and ensure the shop remains fresh and inviting.
• To implement and monitor operating policies and procedures for the golf shop aimed at delivering the standard of service and operations expected.
• Ensure all merchandise is correctly priced.
• Present all merchandise in the proper manner restocking as required.
• To implement inventory management systems reordering as appropriate to ensure sufficient stock is available at all times.
• Implement the tee time booking systems and procedures.
• Implement effective tee time management procedures to ensure the availability is optimised.
• Develop and organise seasonal and special event promotions.
• To supervise and monitor the performance of the golf shop team.
• To inspect the shop throughout the day ensuring all displays clean and tidy and all merchandise is presented properly.
• Ensure all working areas are kept in a clean and tidy manner.
• Ensure all financial and human resource policies and procedures are implemented and followed by golf shop personnel.
• To assist in developing a detailed purchasing plan for the golf shop.

 A minimum of 1- 2 years experience in a high- volume retail outlet.
 Previous experience of working in a golf shop preferred.
