• Reviews personnel policies, procedures and practices. Recommends changes, modification or updated information to the General Manager.
• Directs supervise of training department and ensure all its activities are in accordance to the needs of the hotel and all training program has been smoothly executed.
• Investigates and reviews all disciplinary actions to ensure the actions are complying with the labor law, hotel rules and regulations.
• Organizing, developing, coordinating/implementing and evaluating hotel training programs.
• Supervises that staff coordinates in the work plan on safety, hygiene.
• Oversee staff hotel personnel and ensure the effective staff management.
• To adhere to the grooming standards as set out in the employee manual and updated from time to time.
• Ensures the staff complies with hotel policies and procedures as well as government regulations pertaining to employment practice.
• Monitor present and future trends of local labor situation, legislation and recommends an appropriate action.
• Develops and implements recruiting and screening systems and procedures in order to attract most qualified candidates for position vacancies.
• Monitors and reviews hotel benefits and compensation and recommends the General Manager of the changes as appropriate.
• Consults with department heads on appropriate action and recommend the results.
• Ensure that all the contracts entered into with outside parties are negotiated with the best interests of the hotel and its staff in mind
• Elaboration and implementation of performances standards.
• Responsible for the administration of Human Resources Dept.
• To suggest improvements necessary for the efficient and effective performance of the Hotel in a constructive manner.
• General administration of the HR office.
• Analyzes hotel manpower requirement and recommends selection activities to meet the requirement.
• Manages HR Dept., ensuring compliance with all hotel policies and procedures; both local and Government regulations pertaining to employment practices.
• Coordinate with requisitioning departments in the recruitment of employee following established standards, policies and procedures; assists them in the orientation training, development and evaluation of their personnel.
• Report any suspicious behavior to their immediate superior.
• Inspects regularly staff restaurant, locker rooms and locker and other staff facilities to ensure they are well operated and maintained.
• Conduct summary of daily attendance record for all Dept. to calculate salary and other benefits
• Calculate and contribute for Social, Health, Unemployment insurance. Process the procedure to get the payment back from SHI Dept for staff in case maternity leave, sick leave, accident leave…Register for Social book and health insurance card for staff.

• Counsels hotel personnel as needed in the area of career planning, job transfer, staff relations and legal requirements related to personnel.
• Develops and implements programs to ensure staff security and safety.
• Disseminates information regarding staff activities, hotel personnel policies, procedures, and any information related to employer- employee relations.
• Coordination of training for all departments.
• Implements an effective staff relations and motivation programs in the hotel.
• Recruitment and selection of staff.
• Coordinates and executes staff social, athletic and recreational activities.
• Management participation:
- Ensure that all the hotel rules and regulations conform to the local government laws and regulations.
- Team building (socialization and information sharing).
- Ensure the efficient running of the HR Department.
