Trust and Safety Specialist

The Trust & Safety Team at Flodesk is part of our Engineering Team, based in our Da Nang office. Our job is to protecting our platform’s integrity and ensure that our users send high- quality, compliant email campaigns.
As a Trust & Safety Specialist, You’ll be responsible for monitoring user behavior, identifying abusive patterns, and taking action to safeguard our sender reputation and deliverability. You will also work cross- functionally with Product, Member Experience, and Marketing Communication teams to guide users on best practices, shape internal policies, and support the continuous improvement of our Trust & Safety systems.

Review identifiable risky users and take prompt action to prevent abusive users from making use of our platform to send phishing/ spam emails.
Monitor key TnS metrics, develop reports to measure and continuously improve the effectiveness of Trust & Safety actions.
The senior role will include leading and mentoring more junior specialists.
Collaborate with Member Experience and Communication teams to ensure good actors are educated on email best practices and compliance requirements (list hygiene, consent, content quality etc.).
Contribute to the development and maintenance of operational playbooks and escalation processes for Trust & Safety workflows.
Collaborate with Trust & Safety Analysts to develop the set of automation rules that early signal potential abusive users.

A strong desire to build deep expertise in anti- spam regulations, phishing tactics, and email marketing best practices.
Experience in risk analysis or investigation is a plus — familiarity with SQL, dashboards, or risk scoring models is helpful but not required.
A proactive, self- starter mindset — comfortable identifying risks or inefficiencies and taking the initiative to drive improvements.
Sharp critical thinking and sound judgment, with the ability to make balanced decisions that protect the platform while considering both business impact and user experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document findings, articulate risks, and guide users.
