For restaurant and banquet:
At Renaissance, there are two special restaurants: Viet Kitchen (Buffet) and Kabin Restaurant (Chinese). In general, whether you apply, you&039;ll be trained to:

Answer questions on menu selections, and assist in checking with kitchen staff;
Answer guest questions or concerns regarding the origin, vintage, and style of various wines;
Check with supervisor before leaving at end of shift;
Assist in checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages;
Assist in take and preparing room service orders;
Assist in communicating with guests, other employees, or departments to ensure guest needs are met;
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of assigned tables including ensuring courses are cleared according to department standards and tables are properly crumbed when appropriate.
Assist in inspect the cleanliness and presentation all china, glass, and silver prior to use;
Assist in communicating additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen;

Assist in ensuring settings are appropriate and each guest has a napkin, clean silverware, and any other item that is part of the standard;
Assist in setting tables according to type of event and service standards, including types of linens, glassware, plate/chinaware, and silver/flatware, ensuring all supplies meet quality standards;

Able to work full- time internship from 3 months.
Candidates will be provided with job details during interview.
Customer service oriented.
For restaurant trainee:
Able to communicate in English and Vietnamese appropriately.
For banquet trainee:
English communication is required for Restaurant service
