UI Designer

*The Role: 

• To lead and contribute to design projects from brief through to execution as a member of the Asia Digital Hub. Work directly with the Executive Producer in managing multiple projects from a variety of clients both in Vietnam and abroad. 

*Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop concepts and designs for responsive websites, mobile apps, social media, static and rich banner ads, email campaigns and templates. 
• Translate wire frames into simple, easy-to-use User Interfaces. Integrate visually and enhance creative concepts, UI and navigation designs for web sites, online advertising and mobile. 
• Ensure consistency of brand and creative across digital customer touch points.
• Create and produce design solutions, based on the agreed project brief.
• Perform as link between design, project managers and technical development teams. 
• Be self-motivated and hardworking, able to work independently effectively and efficiently.
• While some projects may require directing external resources, the role is expected to be hands-on.

*Background

• 3+ years in digital and graphic design, or graphic design communications or related field
• Professional design experience, preferably at a digital agency or in-house Web team for a product-driven business
• Strong portfolio of design work, showing solution to business problems through effective design
• Strong work ethic and personal accountability

*Client Relationship

• Ensure provision of design services are of a quality consistent with Agency standards, as judged by your clients.
• Maintain a close and effective working relationship with your internal clients.

*Technical Knowledge

• Knowledge of HTML, Adobe Creative Suite (ie Photoshop, illustrator etc), Sketch, web and mobile design tools and development principles. 
• Proficient in design software (e.g. In Design and Balsam) 

*Communication Skills

• Be able to clearly and logically communicate design ideas and finished work.
• Able to present concepts and lead internal teams to the correct solution

• Be active participant in the Design Direct business and social scene.
