Planning and project management:
- Follow up on permits and certificates necessary for contractors (during construction and commissioning) and DEEP C;
- Make plan for temporary/permanent client connection (incl. design, cost, delivery time materials, installation time, …) by using network planning software (ETAP, PowerFactory, etc.);
- Supervision and commissioning (construction, test procedures, etc.);
- Make plan of the DEEP C entire electrical network for future new customers using network planning software (ETAP, PowerFactory, etc.);
- Review and verify quotations and contracts in technical parts;
- Review and verify as build dossiers and handover the project to the operation team;
- Check what permits/procedures are needed to expand and maintain the DEEP C electrical network;
- Gather information on needs of the new customer (date connection, location connection, load capacity/characteristics, temporary power, etc.);
Investigation (if incident occurs):
- Summarize investigation results to internal reports;
- Review existing equipment design & specifications, installation & testing method, etc.
- Survey incident site, interview manufacturers/contractors, and visit manufacturers’ factories (if necessary);
- Propose the countermeasures in terms of engineering aspects;
- Identify the root cause;
Improvement and others:
- Research for new equipment (including SCADA, EMS) and solutions and proposes to management in order to improve the DEEP C electrical network;
- Ensure the utility master plan, as build drawing, single line drawings, and digital twin model (ETAP, PowerFactory, etc.) are up to date at any given moment and stored at centralized location;
- Develop and maintain databases required for engineering tasks;
- Implement, improve and maintain equipment inventory, optimal spare stocks and setting up procedure to follow up minimum spare stock;
- Study and take corrective and preventive actions to increase the reliability of the network;
- Maintain clear guidelines for new customers how to connect, what installation they need, what operating procedures they need, etc.;
- Follow up the new laws and regulations (safety, environment, legal, procedures, etc) that might affect the duties/obligations/rights of customers and DEEP C electrical network;
- Make and update standard work procedure for all engineering process (including client connection, network planning, equipment design, project management, fault investigation);
- Other works as assigned by higher management.
