UX Designer (UI-UX, English)

Job description:
You will play a critical role in designing and proposing user experience simplification initiatives for the Greenskies proprietary enterprise application portfolio. You must have hands on experience designing and developing wireframes and mock- ups for web- based applications, leveraging the latest industry trends in layout, navigation, typography, and component libraries. The ideal candidate will work to build our application backlog with features and user stories that improve the overall user experience in our enterprise applications with the primary goal of improving our Net Promoter Score (NPS). You will be a member of a two- person development team that is part of the Information Technology (IT) organization in Greenskies. Your primary contact at Greenskies will be a full stack software engineer/ architect that will aid in prioritization, design reviews and user acceptance testing. Responsibilities:

Produce a backlog of user stories and features for design improvements
Collaboration with developers and other team members throughout the design process
Develop sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes to represent the layout and flow of the user interface
Analyze and interpret research findings to inform design decisions
Collaboration with developers to ensure the design vision is translated accurately into code
Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs, behaviors, and preferences
Structure and organize information in a way that is logical and intuitive for users

Time zones overlap until at least 12 PM EST is preferred
Effective communication skills to understand client requirements and present design concepts
BA/BS in computer science, information systems, or related field
Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma
3+ years of relevant experience developing and maintaining web applications working as a user experience (UX) professional.
Good command of English
Strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, typography, and composition
Understanding of UI (User Interface) design patterns, trends, and best practices
Knowledge of UX principles to enhance the overall user experience
