Unlike the traditional pinball parlours and pool halls of the era, Timezone was the first family- oriented video amusement facility. This family emphasis is still a key focus of the brand today.
VIG is looking for a Venue Manager/Assistant Venue Manager working at TIMEZONE- our portfolio company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage that company property is protected from destruction or damage by staff or customers.
• Supervise staff in accordance with company policy.
• Complete and cost weekly staff rosters.
• Log any incidents or daily business in the diary.
• Manage efficient use of budgeted hours for CS staff and Managers.
• Manage that merchandise displays are at an optimum presentation.
• Actively promote the center within the local area.
• Lead the center team by example, in a hands- on manner
• Manage that the correct caliber of staff is recruited.
• Liaise with local businesses, community, and sporting groups.
• Manage that Timezone promotions are clearly communicated to staff and customers.
• Manage that all equipment is safe for staff and customers.
• Manage stock levels and merchandising in accordance with company policy.
• Manage the safety of customers and employees.
• Greet and provide excellent service to all customers.
• Enforce the correct banking procedure of all monies by all center staff.
• Coach staff in all aspects of company systems and operations including customer service standards and product /center presentation.
• Manage all machines/tools are clean, safe, functional and full.
• Accurately complete all paperwork in a neat and timely manner.

• Dynamic and driven
• Min of 3 years&039; experience in retail, F&B, Hospitality, etc.
• Strong interest in entertainment service and consumer retailing
• Fluency in English
• Able to balance priorities, resilient
• Business minded and results- oriented
• Required to work flexible hours.
• Initiative and people management skills
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to interact effectively with team members and customers
• Ability to lead and manage a work team
• Ability to work under pressure.
