Overview:
We are inviting a highly skilled Video Operator, Editor, and Furniture Photographer to join our creative team. In this comprehensive role, you will capture and edit video footage, in addition to photographing our distinctive furniture collections. The position offers a unique blend of creative tasks, requiring a talent for visual storytelling and a proficiency in both motion and still photography. Notably, this role involves significant on- site work; about 40% of your time will be spent traveling to our furniture factories, with transportation, including a car and a driver, provided by the company. These factories are located approximately 60- 90 minutes away from District 2. The remaining 60% of your duties, primarily editing work, will be conducted at our office in District 2. This dual setting offers a dynamic working environment that combines fieldwork with in- office production.
Responsibilities:
● Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in video production, editing, and photography. Embrace opportunities for professional growth and skill enhancement.
● Furniture Photography: Assume the role of a furniture photographer, capturing the design, detail, and aesthetics of our furniture collection. A professional camera will be provided to ensure high- resolution and captivating images.
● Creative Direction: Work in tandem with the creative team to develop video concepts, storyboards, and photography themes that effectively convey our brand&039;s message and align with project goals.
● Quality Control: Perform thorough reviews of edited videos and photographs for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines. Incorporate feedback to refine content as needed.
● Setup and Preparation: Prepare and adjust camera settings, lighting, and audio equipment for both video and photography shoots. Conduct tests and adjustments to achieve optimal results, ensuring the unique features of our furniture are highlighted.
● Video Capture: Utilize professional video cameras and other equipment to capture high- quality footage for various projects, including interviews, events, tutorials, promotional videos, and furniture showcases.
● Storyboarding and Sequencing for Video: Arrange video clips, graphics, and images into a cohesive narrative. Ensure a consistent pace and seamless transitions to maintain viewer engagement.
● In- Office Editing and Production: Perform editing and post- production tasks at our office in District 2, utilizing state- of- the- art software to refine and polish your captures. This constitutes the remaining 60% of your role, allowing you to bring your creative visions to life within our fully equipped workspace.
● File Management: Efficiently organize and maintain digital files, ensuring all video and photographic content is properly archived for easy retrieval.
● On- Site Photography and Video Capture: Travel to furniture factories to shoot high- quality videos and photographs, capturing the essence and detail of our products. Expect to spend around 40% of your working time on location, with all necessary travel arrangements made by the company.
● Editing and Post- Production: Transform raw footage and photographs into polished and engaging content. Utilize editing software for video (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and photo editing tools to enhance visual quality.
