Impressia Tours is seeking a talented Inbound Travel Sales Representative to join our growing sales team. This position will be responsible for identifying, establishing, and managing relationships with international tourism partners to promote and sell Impressia&039;s tour products and services.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new potential partners/accounts within assigned international source markets through cold calling, email outreach, attending trade shows, and leveraging existing contacts/networks. Focus on high- potential opportunities.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets. Provide sales forecasts and report on sales activity and pipeline.
- Manage a portfolio of existing partners to maximize revenue growth through upsells, new product promotion, and conversion of tentative bookings to confirmed bookings.
- Coordinate with Impressia&039;s marketing team to align sales initiatives and develop co- op campaigns with partners.
- Research potential new partners, analyze their business needs and how Impressia&039;s offerings can meet those needs. Customize proposals and sales presentations.
- Build and maintain positive, long- term relationships with buyers. Provide excellent customer service.
- Make sales trips to meet partners and promote Impressia at tourism exhibitions and events.
- Negotiate and close sales deals with tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, hotels, destination management companies, and other buyers. Draft contracts.
- Collaborate with Impressia&039;s product development team to create customized tour packages and proposals for buyers.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of source markets for travel from Asia Pacific and Euro, North America, Australia, New Zealand.
- CRM experience (preferably PNG or Travel Studio).
- Experience delivering engaging sales presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- 3- 5 years of experience in tourism sales, preferably focused on inbound markets.
- Existing network of contacts within international travel trade.
- Persuasive communication skills and ability to close complex, high- value deals.
- Skill- full of English as compulsory
- Bachelor&039;s degree in Business, Marketing or relevant field.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
