Vietnamese Academic Manager - Preschool

- Provide inspirational, innovative and motivational leadership of the Principals to enable all pupils and staff to achieve their highest potential.
- To be an academic ambassador for ILO Preschool, which may include hosting parent seminars, meetings and speaking to prospective customers.
- Support the delivery of an innovative approach to teaching and play- based learning
- Provide a clear strategic vision and direction for the continued development of the curriculum and learning materials
- To maintain and promote high academic and professional standards to the entire teaching time and wider ILO community.
- Support the creation and implementation of ways of actively involving parents and carers in the learning process
- Conduct research and analysis on the market needs, customer feedback, and best practices in bilingual kindergarten education for young learners.
- Help to introduce and implement proven, effective strategies that are designed to raise standards continually
- To regularly liaise with campus Principals and assist them with any issues as required.
- Arrange and conduct academic training sessions using internal resources, and proposing external solutions as required by the MD.
- Collaborate with the Operations team and the teachers to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the learning materials and outcomes
- Ensure that there is an appropriate and effective assessment, recording and reporting system of child development, which reports on child progress regularly throughout the academic year.
- Provide training and support to the teachers on how to use the curriculum and content effectively.
- To proactively offer interdepartmental support, and foster a positive, solution- oriented work environment.
- Contribute to the evaluation of the design and delivery of the curriculum, continuously improving all aspects
- Liaise with Marketing team to devise marketing strategies to promote ILO Preschool’s curriculum and content to potential customers
- Liaise with Principals to conduct termly quality assessment observations, and proposing actions plans based on the resulting data.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education is preferred
- IELTS 6.5 and above, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years experience as a Principal (or
equivalent) at a bilingual/kindergarten environment
r curriculum/content development for bilingual kindergartens.
- Knowledge of first and second language acquisition is a plus.
- Aware of and competent with a range of educational apps/technology that aid an enhance learning
- Computer literate and experience with using G- suite- google drive, google docs, google sheets, google forms, google apps etc.
- Experience working directly with expatriate teaching staff is desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Experience in delivering finely tuned product marketing strategies
- Excellent interpersonal skills and interest in being part of a Vietnamese and Expatriate working culture.
- Strong public speaking and public interaction skills, especially as applied to parent- facing events, from parent consultations, parent meetings, and parent seminars.
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Creative, innovative, and always looking for areas to improve the product.
- Able to work in dynamic environments and deal with all kinds of child behaviors in a patient and empathetic manner
