Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager to lead and manage the warehouse operations of our jeans sewing factory. The successful warehouse Manager will demonstrate exceptional organizational and leadership abilities, with a proven track record in warehouse management.
Key responsibilities include overseeing inventory control, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing processes through the effective utilization of an ERP system. This role plays a pivotal part in maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring alignment between logistical records and financial accounting. The Warehouse Manager will be instrumental in driving productivity and maintaining high standards of quality within our warehouse operations
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Operation – The warehouse managers must keep track of all the goods that are stored. They have to especially be careful if the warehouse is storing perishable goods. They must ensure that the goods are sent for delivery as company’s plan. They have to develop a system for the warehouse so keeping track and controlling becomes easier.
Inventory Management
Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory checks to ensure accuracy and integrity of stock levels.
Implement strategies to minimize inventory loss and optimize stock levels based on production needs.
Utilize ERP system for effective inventory management, including monitoring of stock movements, adjustments, and reconciliation.
Compliance and Record Accuracy
Ensure alignment between customs documentation, tax records, and actual inventory records.
Maintain up- to- date knowledge of customs regulations and tax requirements affecting warehouse operations.
Coordinate with finance and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting for compliance purposes.
Warehouse Operations and Process Optimization
Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including storage, handling, and shipping of raw materials and finished products.
Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
Champion continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.
ERP System and Data Management
· Analyze ERP system data to drive decision- making and identify areas for process improvement.
· Oversee the use of the ERP system for all warehouse operations, ensuring optimal functionality and data accuracy.
· Train warehouse staff on ERP system functionality and best practices
Team Leadership and Development
· Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs, and ensure the professional growth of team members.
· Lead and develop a high- performing warehouse team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
Safety and Quality Assurance
· Implement and enforce strict safety protocols throughout the warehouse, prioritizing the well- being of staff and compliance with OSHA standards.
· 6S Standard (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety)
· ISO 45001 Standard- Occupational Health and Safety Management System
· Explosion prevention and fire fighting
· Ensure that warehouse operations adhere to quality assurance standards and that goods are stored and handled in a manner that preserves their value.
