ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Community Lead to drive Saros’s community engagement in Japan/Korea/China. As the Saros Community Lead for Japan/Korea/China Markets, you will be the primary ambassador for Saros, tasked with building, managing, and growing a vibrant community of users, developers, and enthusiasts. This role requires an advanced understanding of the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry, native proficiency in Japanese/Chinese/Korean, and the ability to tailor community strategies to the unique cultural and market dynamics of Japan/Korea/China Markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Community Strategy & Growth:
Manage and moderate Saros’s official social media channels in Japan/Korea/China Markets, including.
Partner with the global marketing and development teams to align community initiatives with Saros’s broader objectives.
Establish and maintain relationships with local influencers, KOLs, and media to boost Saros’s visibility in Japan/Korea/China Markets.
Design and execute community growth strategies customized for Japan/Korea/China Markets.
Content & Engagement:
Create and distribute engaging Japanese/Korean/Chinese content (project updates, educational materials, announcements).
Manage and moderate Saros’s official social media channels in Japan/Korea/China Markets(e.g., Telegram, X and Line).
Plan and host both online (AMAs, webinars) and offline (meetups, conferences) events.
Community Insights:
Monitor community sentiment and provide feedback to the Saros team.
Foster a positive, inclusive community culture aligned with Saros’s values.
QUALIFICATIONS
Technical understanding of blockchain technology and familiarity with DEX infra.
Must be hands- on, execution- focused, and open- minded—comfortable working in a fast- paced startup environment where priorities can shift and impact is measured by outcomes, not titles.
Minimum of 1 years of experience in community management, marketing, or a related role within the cryptocurrency or blockchain industry.
An established network within the cryptocurrency community in Japan/Korea/China Markets.
Native proficiency in Japanese/Korean/Chinese; fluency in English is a strong advantage.
Proficiency with social media platforms prevalent in Japan/Korea/China Markets (LINE, X and Telegram).
Advanced knowledge of the crypto ecosystem in Japan/Korea/China Markets, including regulatory environments, market trends, and community dynamics.
Exceptional communication skills in Japanese/Korean/Chinese, with the ability to craft compelling, culturally relevant content.
Demonstrated success in growing and engaging online communities, with examples of impactful community initiatives.
