Well-Being Counsellor

The school Well- being Counsellor provides individualized guidance to help students address personal challenges. Engage in broader initiatives to raise awareness about important issues such as drug abuse, bullying, and other significant challenges faced by students. Provide Peer support to teachers in collectively managing behavior at- risk students. Establishing a professional partnership network to support school and parent community.

Help students process their problems and plan goals and action.
Refer students to psychologists and other mental health resources when needed.
Mediate conflict between peers
Design and Implement Schoolwide Programs on Emotional Well- Being, Cyber Wellness, Addiction Management, Peer and Family Relationship Management
Assist Teachers in at risk student management.
The Well- being Counsellor is a whole school appointment to support K- 12 students
Listen to students’ concerns about emotional or social problems based on teacher referrals and walk in.
Organize teacher training for upskilling.

Counselling degree or practitioner certification
Good command of English
More than 2 years of school- based counselling experience.
