Women Leadership in Tech Embedded Program Manager

We’re empowering and promoting Women Leadership roles in Software Engineering within the Automotive domain.
The Program Manager will be responsible for oversee and coordinate a portfolio of related embedded- software projects, aligning program objectives with organizational goals, managing cross- functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead program governance, including risk management, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
- Communicate program status, issues, and milestones to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and status reports.
- Ensure all projects under the program align with organizational standards and frameworks.
- Manage and mentor project managers or team leads working on associated projects.
- Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
- Identify interdependencies and mitigate risks across projects.
- Plan, manage, and monitor embedded- software programs from initiation through completion.
- Coordinate multiple related projects to achieve strategic business goals.
- Scout for opportunities for expanding project / service business
- Drive synergies amongst the Programs / Projects / Operations in the portfolio
- Setting and aligning programs goals with organization goals & strategies
- Customer engagement and commitment with respect to portfolio / program scope
- Introduce innovative approaches to project / program success
- Steer the Programs / Projects in the portfolio by Leading the steering committee

Must Have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Above 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years in program management or 10 years in project management, with strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Experience in embedded software development for Automotive domain.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or Asana.
- The ideal candidate is collaborative, supportive, and thrives in team environments.
- Strong business acumen, including experience in project sponsorship, steering committee participation, and strategic alignment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Expertise in software requirements, development processes, and the full project lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross- domain, and cross- functional initiatives while managing large teams.
- Proven experience managing stakeholders across diverse countries and cultures.
- Proficient in V- Model and Agile methodologies for effective project execution.
Nice to Have:
- Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or other relevant credentials.
