Accounting Intern

JOB DESCRIPTION
Homebase is looking for a talented candidate to join the team as an Accounting Intern. The candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with core members of our high- performing team and will have the following responsibilities:

Arrange and manage supporting documentations;
Manage the data entry in the accounting system/software and inform supervisory staff in case of any discrepancies;
Collect bank documents on a monthly basis;
Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism including punctuality, adherence to the reporting structure as well as policies and procedures of the organization;
Provide cross- functional support according to the request of seniors;
Review billing statements and issue invoices to customers;
Assist the team in the making of financial statements and support audits;
Other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
Verify and prepare weekly payment runs to suppliers;

REQUIREMENTS

Able to commit at least 6 months;
Analytical and detail- oriented;
Able to handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
Background in Finance, Accounting, Banking or related fields;
Good English and Vietnamese communication skills;
Based in HCMC, available to work offline at least 3 days per week;
Prior experience in office administration and accounting software is a plus;
