Main Purpose:
The IT Business Partner (ITBP) connects business and IT, ensuring technology solutions align with business goals and drive performance.
Key Accountabilities:
Strategic Alignment & Collaboration:
Strategic Recommendations: Analyze relevant information and develop insightful recommendations for senior management, contributing to strategic technology planning.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure all solutions are compatible and compliant with corporate technology standards, architectures, and solutions.
Foster Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between business units and the Technology Group, building strong relationships and ensuring clear communication channels.
Shared Vision & Decision Making: Facilitate the creation of a shared vision for technology solutions and guide decision- making processes, particularly when navigating trade- offs between different platforms.
Solution Development & Implementation:
Technology Utilization & Optimization: Utilize appropriate technologies, to ensure business needs are met efficiently and effectively, delivering solutions that are timely and user- friendly.
System Requirements & Development: Ensure the availability of necessary resources to support system analysis, requirements gathering, and development activities.
Project Prioritization: Collaborate with the Project Management Office on the intake process and prioritization of projects, ensuring alignment with company- wide objectives.
Business Case Development: Create compelling business cases for new technology solutions or change requirements, justifying investments and demonstrating ROI.
Project Scope & Timelines: Understand project scope, resources, and timelines to ensure timely delivery of systems.
Business Analysis & Solution Design: Conduct thorough business analysis to understand requirements and prepare detailed recommendations for effective solutions.
Solution Launch & Impact: Oversee the successful launch of technology solutions, maximizing their positive impact on the organization.
Operational Efficiency & Compliance:
Service Quality Management: Monitor and ensure agreed SLAs between Technology group & business are met and contribute to the resolution of unmet SLAs
Process Improvement & Issue Resolution: Provide process and business solutions to support IT system needs and resolve issues faced by business stakeholders.
Innovation & Opportunity Identification:
Opportunity Evaluation: Identify, screen, and evaluate new solution opportunities to address unmet internal and external customer needs, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
Hands- on experience in business analysis, solution design, and IT project management.
8+ years of experience in IT business partnership, IT consulting, or a similar role bridging technology and business.
Experience in stakeholder management at executive and operational levels.
Familiarity with enterprise IT architecture, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.
Proven track record of leading technology- driven business transformations and delivering strategic IT solutions.
Work related skills:
Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and project management frameworks.
Proficiency in IT governance, risk management, and compliance standards.
Ability to conduct data- driven analysis and develop business cases for IT investments.
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
Excellent understanding of IT service management (ITSM) and SLA monitoring.
