Apple Software Developer (iOS/ SwiftUI/ OOP)

Job type: Full- time Employee or Full- time Contractor
As an Apple software developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high- end visionOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI, for the Apple Vision Pro. You will collaborate with cross- functional teams, including product teams, designer teams, and software engineering teams, to deliver innovative solutions that enhance the user experience and meet business objectives. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for iOS / iPadOS / VisionOS application development and a deep understanding across Apple platforms.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand and translate engagement requirements into functional applications.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.
Develop applications for the Apple Vision Pro, adhering to best practices, Apple Human Interface Guidelines and coding standards given Photoshop designs.
Keep up- to- date with the latest trends and advancements in Swift UI, iOS, and VisionOS development to leverage new features and tools effectively.
Work with the testing team to ensure the delivery of robust, reliable, and secure applications
Identify and resolve bugs, bottlenecks, and performance issues on time.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong proficiency in SwiftUI.
Experience in building apps for the Apple ecosystem.
Solid understanding of object- oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
Solid experience with MVC and MVVM architecture.
Proven ability to learn new technologies and new ideas quickly.
Experience with SwiftUI framework for developing user interfaces.
Strong problem- solving skills and the ability to analyze and address complex issues.
3+ years of experience working as iOS developer in Swift.
Familiarity with networking protocols and RESTful APIs for data retrieval and integration.
Proficiency in using debugging and profiling tools to optimize application performance.

Even better if you have

Understanding Agile development methodologies and version control systems (such as Git or Plastic SCM).
Experienced with AR devices is a plus.
Contribution to open- source engagements or personal engagements showcasing SwiftUI proficiency.
Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
