We are looking for an experienced ASO Specialist to build and scale our App Store Optimization (ASO) function. You will play a key role in optimizing app visibility, improving conversion rates, and driving organic growth across the App Store and Google Play.
As part of the Platform Operations team, you will develop ASO strategies for App Publishing projects and standalone ASO services, conduct A/B testing, and analyze market trends to enhance app rankings. This is a unique opportunity to build ASO from scratch and shape it into a BPaaS model for publishers. The ideal candidate has proven ASO success, with case studies showcasing ranking and conversion improvements, especially for casual, hyper- casual games with global traffic.
What You Will Do
Analyze app performance data to refine ASO strategies and drive organic user acquisition.
Be part of a new ASO team from the ground up, shaping its strategy and growth.
Test and implement AI- driven ASO tools for efficiency and scalability.
Work closely with UAC teams to align ASO efforts with paid user acquisition campaigns.
Develop and implement ASO strategies to increase app visibility and improve conversion rates.
Monitor and report on competitors&039; ASO strategies and industry trends.
Provide localized ASO strategies for different markets and regions.
Conduct keyword research, optimize metadata (title, description, keywords), and A/B test store assets.
Who You Are
Strong analytical skills with experience using data- driven insights to optimize ASO efforts.
Proficiency in keyword research tools (e.g., AppTweak, Sensor Tower, MobileAction, Data.ai).
2+ years of experience in ASO with a proven track record of successfully improving app rankings (please provide examples). Especially for casual, hyper- casual games with global traffic.
Experience in A/B testing store assets and analyzing conversion impact.
Ability to work independently in a fast- paced, growth- oriented environment.
Familiarity with performance marketing and how ASO aligns with paid UA.
Strong knowledge of App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android) algorithms and ranking factors.
Understanding of app localization strategies for different markets.
Nice to have:
Knowledge of SEO principles and how they apply to ASO.
Background in app monetization strategies (e.g., ad revenue, in- app purchases).
