Assistant Human Resources Manager

• Conduct HR related market surveys to promptly adjust strategy.
• Handle foreigner work permits and visa application.
• Supervise and check all records on sick leave, medical expenses, misconduct and the personnel action form.
• Supervise and support to manage the team member facilities.
• Take charge of recruitment according to hotel business requirements and the manning situation.
• Strictly adhere to and ensure the security and confidentiality of the HR department.
• Develop and maintain the team member relations programs, including social and sports activities, service award programs, and employee counseling to increase team members&039; satisfaction.
• Supervise team members as assigned in the HR office, ensuring the department&039;s daily operation is running smoothly and team members adhere to set disciplines.
• Support and handle required tasks during Human Resources Manager absence.
• Ensure that all team members have a complete understanding of and adhere to the hotel&039;s team member rules and regulations.
• Initiate any new and improved systems/procedures to be implemented in order to upgrade all personnel filing systems and records.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Liaise with local government authorities regarding labour law, labour relations and arbitration cases.
• Supervise and support to maintain the smooth operations of Compensation & Benefits.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position with an international brand hotel.
• Good organization and presentation skills.
• Thorough knowledge of HR modules and department operations.
• Good communication skills.
• Open minded and a good team player.
• College degree and above.
• Thorough knowledge of federal, state and local labour laws.
• Strong ownership and result driven.
• Good analysis and planning skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English to meet business needs.
• Possess basic business and financial sense.
• Good relationship with the local labour bureau and government agencies.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the hotel industry.
