As an Assistant Training Manager, you serve as an integral component of the Human Resources function by supporting learning and development initiatives through Hilton&039;s comprehensive training framework. Specifically, a Training Manager will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Ensure compliance with brand standards and audit requirements related to training and people development.
Support individual and team development, career development, and training and experience- based learning;
Manage succession planning with senior managers during the bi- annual appraisal process;
Support managers to ensure success of their teams;
Interact with Hotel leaders responsible for people development on a daily basis to provide support to operational departments;
Prepare annual training plans and training calendars for the Hotel;
Provide key input of Training aspects for all activities and plans of the Hotel;
Manage the training budget effectively and coordinate external training providers when required.
Monitor and conduct learning and development reviews with each department;
Act as a change catalyst in the cultural and organizational transformation of the Hotel;
Partner with department to deliver training programs and other organizational and leadership development interventions;
Work with local organizations and schools to promote the hospitality industry;
Support departments in developing cutting edge functional excellence and in developing leadership capabilities;
Induct, coach, and mentor new Team Members;
Support day to day operations in Human Resources and assist the Director of Human Resources in implementing Hotel strategy, including coaching and counseling recruits, and hiring and retaining the best employees.
Act as a culture ambassador, reinforcing continuous learning and engagement across the organization.
Promote Team member recognition programs and initiatives that reinforce service excellence and brand values.
Carry out any other reasonable task set by the Hotel&039;s Management.
Plan and execute team member engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, internal events, and cultural activities to foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
Contribute to building a strong internal talent pipeline and career development framework.
Support talent development and retention strategies by identifying high- potential team members and partnering with department leaders on succession planning and Career Development Plans.
