COPE OF WORK&13;
The Manager, Training & Development (T&D) is responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of the resort&039;s training and development programs, ensuring that they align with business objectives, priorities and enhance employee performance. The incumbent will also support employee engagement initiatives and contribute to internal and external communications. Key responsibility areas include:
Training & Development
Measuring training impact and effectiveness.
Designing and delivering training initiatives.
Designing, facilitating/co- facilitating and/or support the planning and delivery of supervisory, managerial skills development programs.
Overseeing compliance and mandatory training.
Managing budgets and external training vendors.
Developing training strategy and plan in alignment with business objectives and organizational priorities.
Employee Engagement & HR Support
Supporting other HR functions as needed.
Supporting the development and implementation of employee recognition and engagement initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Training & Development
Maintain training records and generate relevant training reports where required.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, conduct needs assessments and develop training solutions that address skill gaps and enhance employee performance.
Coordinate with internal trainers, subject matter experts, and external vendors to implement training courses and programs as assigned.
Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs using various learning methods, including instructor- led training, e- learning, and blended learning approaches.
Monitor and manage the training budget, ensuring cost- effective resource allocation.
Assist in managing the overall planning, development, and implementation of training and development programs at the resort, ensuring alignment with the resort’s strategic objectives and priorities.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement. Continuously improve training effectiveness, training content and methodologies based on feedback and industry best practices.
Monitoring compliance training, in accordance with applicable laws, company policies, and industry regulations. Maintain accurate records of compliance training for auditing and reporting purposes.
Oversee the local internship program where assigned.
Monitoring departmental training activities and oversee the departmental trainers program to ensure effective knowledge transfer within departments.
Assist in the design and delivery of the resort’s supervisory & managerial development programs.
Identify emerging trends and best practices in training and development to enhance the resort’s learning culture.
Employee Engagement & HR Support
Support other HR- related functions as needed.
Contribute to the development and implementation of employee recognition and engagement initiatives, such as recognition programs, staff activities, and well- being initiatives.
