Automation Tester (Senior)

ABOUT THE JOB

Define, develop, execute, and maintain complex automated end- to- end test cases and use- case scenarios for continuous deployment.
Track and report QA metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts, to improve the team’s performance.
Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and provide expertise in test case design.
Debug, analyze, record, document, and track software issues based on end- to- end testing.
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate automated testing activities at a senior level.
Investigate the root causes of issues and continuously improve test coverage and regression testing at an advanced level.
Lead the design and implementation of advanced automation testing frameworks to ensure operational efficiencies across the product team.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members.
Define and perform various testing aspects like functionality, scalability, reliability, and product performance at a senior level.

ABOUT YOU

Extensive experience in testing cross- browser GUI applications and REST APIs.
Advanced knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes.
Proven experience working in microservices, Container, and Cloud environments at a senior level.
In- depth exposure to functional and load testing frameworks/tools like Robot Framework, Selenium, Postman, JMeter, etc.
Bachelor’s degree or college’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining advanced automated testing frameworks.
Experience working on Agile/Scrum development teams at a senior level.
Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to lead, self- manage time, and deliverables.
Programming or scripting experience with Ruby, Python, Java, JavaScript, Linux shell script, and SQL (at least 2 or more) at an advanced level.
Good command of spoken and written English.
