JOB DESCRIPTION:
Design, implement, configure, and maintain Microsoft Azure services.
Deploy, operate, and maintain Azure Virtual Machines, networking, and platform services to support cloud- based workloads
Be the escalation point for other IT Systems Engineers.
Manage and respond to escalated client inquiries.
Identify improvements to IT documentation, network maps, processes/procedures, and tickets.
Research products and new technologies to increase efficiency of business and operations.
Recommend, develop, plan, manage, implement, and fully document IT projects.
Working knowledge and hands on experience with the Linux operating system.
Keep all tickets and projects updated and track time in a detailed format.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must- have:
Strong troubleshooting skills in production and migration scenarios
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM, or Terraform)
Experience with Azure Load Balancer and Application Gateway (WAF)
Strong understanding of Azure networking: Virtual Network, Subnet, VNet Peering, NSG, Azure Firewall, and Route Tables
Hands- on knowledge of Microsoft Azure services including Virtual Machines, App Service, and AKS
Ability to write and maintain technical documents, configuration sheets, and runbooks
Familiarity with VPN Gateway and/or ExpressRoute
Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar)
Experience using monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Datadog, New Relic, or OpenTelemetry
Good understanding of system operations and handover processes
Working knowledge of Azure Active Directory, RBAC, and Managed Identity
Windows Server and Linux administration
Ability to work across the infrastructure lifecycle: requirements, design, build, unit test, and integration test
Basic scripting in PowerShell and/or Bash
Understanding of backup and DR with Azure Backup, Recovery Services Vault, and Azure Site Recovery (ASR)
Nice- to- have:
Ability to communicate in English
Azure certifications such as AZ- 104 (Azure Administrator) or AZ- 305 (Azure Solutions Architect)
