About our Team:
Our team is responsible for creating a brand new suite of digital financial platforms and apps that are highly reliable and scalable, using modern engineering practices. You will be joining a project with talented software engineers in our Digital Bank Build team, who are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the new digital banking platform and its customer channels. As part of the team, you will implement software features, participate in technical designs, and write tests to ensure high- quality product delivery. Our teams operate in Scrum and DevOps models.
We’re looking for top engineers! During the interview process, we will assess your coding and design skills to evaluate your experience and depth of knowledge. Don’t worry, our interview process will be engaging!
Responsibilities:
As a Backend Engineer, you will work on specific problem domains, designing, developing, and deploying backend services with a focus on scalability, high availability, and low latency.

Solve complex technical and business problems and learn new technologies and frameworks.
Design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, and improve – you are responsible for the full lifecycle of your product.
Be part of a team that takes full responsibility for the features you own.
Drive the efficient delivery of change through analysis, definition, and documentation of requirements, while identifying potential solutions using agile delivery frameworks.

Requirements

You will be a perfect match if your profile ticks some of the items below:
Must- have:

Outstanding problem- solving ability, eagerness to learn, and curiosity.
A pragmatic mindset.
+5 years of software development experience with one or more general- purpose programming languages (Java, Python, etc.).
Collaboration and culture fit in an Agile environment.
Good English skills.
Adaptable attitude and personality, ready for continuous change.
Strong database and schema design skills for large- scale applications.

Nice to have:

Experience with automated testing frameworks.
Experience developing distributed systems using microservices architecture, serverless architecture, and event- driven architecture. Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, Python (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI), or similar technologies is a plus.
Strong English listening and speaking skills.
Experience with AWS, Ansible, Packer, Docker, and Kubernetes is a significant plus.
Experience working in the banking and financial domain.
