Backend Senior Developer (NodeJS)

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer who is proficient in Node.js, Nest.js, and MongoDB. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of backend development and be able to create efficient, scalable, and reliable solutions. You will be working closely with our frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high- quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Develop backend components, microservices, and APIs using Node.js and Nest.js.
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Work collaboratively with the frontend team to integrate user- facing elements.
Implement and manage databases using MongoDB.
Stay up- to- date with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance your skills and our products.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of Node.js and server- side JavaScript development.
Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
Familiarity with Auth0 and Lucia for Authentication
Knowledge of microservices architecture is a plus.
Experience with Nest.js for server- side rendering and building APIs.
Experience with LLM Models and prompting
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
Good communication skills and a team- player attitude.
Proficiency in MongoDB and database design.
Excellent problem- solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Quick leaner
Familiarity with other backend languages and frameworks.
Understanding of agile methodologies.
Good spoken English
Experience with cloud services such as Netlify and AWS
