Business Analyst

As an Intermediate Business Analyst, you will play a key role in in bridging the gap between stakeholders and development teams, focusing primarily on software solutions in the healthcare technology space with additional involvement in E- commerce platforms.
Responsibilities

Maintain clear and concise documentation (e.g., BRDs, flowcharts, SOPs).
Support cross- functional teams in designing software features and workflows, particularly in HIS, EMR, and e- commerce modules.
Translate complex business needs into user stories, specifications, and process flows for development teams.
Communicate effectively with technical and non- technical stakeholders.
Analyze existing systems and propose enhancements or optimizations.
Assist with test planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation activities.
Gather, document, and analyze business requirements through collaboration with internal teams, users, and external stakeholders.
Participate in the software development lifecycle from discovery through deployment, ensuring business goals are met.

Experience or familiarity with healthcare systems (HIS, EMR/EHR) is strongly preferred.
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
2–5 years of business analysis experience in a software or IT environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Health Informatics, or a related field.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem- solving skills.
Exposure to e- commerce workflows (e.g., ordering, payments, user accounts) is a plus.
Proficiency in documentation and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart, Figma).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Agile or Scrum- based environments.
Certifications such as CBAP, PMI- PBA, or healthcare IT certifications (e.g., CPHIMS).
Basic understanding of databases or the ability to run simple SQL queries for data validation.
Experience working with or implementing HIS/EMR solutions in clinical or administrative settings.
Experience working on client- facing or end- user healthcare products, portals, or dashboards.
Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, data privacy laws).
