Business Analyst Product Owner - Professional Trading

We are looking for a Business Analyst (Professional Trading) with strong expertise in securities and financial trading, especially in professional trading, derivatives, and algorithmic trading. This role acts as a bridge between trading desks, risk, compliance and technical teams (quants, developers, data engineers) to deliver and optimize end- to- end trading solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support traders during go- live phases.
Support Product Owner/Project Manager in defining priorities for the trading product backlog.
Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD), User Stories, and Use Cases for trading systems (OMS/EMS/HMM), risk, and settlement platforms.
Gather, analyze, and clarify business requirements from Trading Desk, Risk Management, Compliance, and Operations teams.
Ensure requirements and solutions comply with regulations from SSC (State Securities Commission of Vietnam), Stock Exchanges, and international standards (e.g., FIX Protocol, ISO 20022).
Analyze and design trading workflows: order routing, margining, risk controls, algo- trading execution.
Collaborate closely with Quantitative Researchers, Data Scientists and Developers to implement automated trading strategies.
Monitor solution effectiveness and propose continuous improvements.

Must- Have:

Strong knowledge of trading operations: equities, derivatives (futures, options, covered warrants), margin, and risk management.
2+ years of hands- on experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner working in finance, securities, banking, or fintech projects (preferably in trading/OMS).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Mathematics/Statistics, or related fields.
Strong analytical mindset and structured problem- solving ability.
Proficient in business analysis & modeling tools (UML, BPMN, Visio/draw.io).

Nice- to- Have:

Experience working in or with companies in the Vietnamese banking, securities, or financial services sector.
Experience working with Agile or hybrid project delivery models.
Knowledge of core systems (Core Trading / Core Banking / Core Securities) is a strong advantage.
Experience working with FIX Gateway / FIX Protocol is highly preferred.
Experience in working with or delivering AI- driven products (e.g., trading bots, recommendation engines, predictive analytics, NLP- driven chatbots) is a plus.
