Business Development Executive

Business/ Sales growth market development (80% focus)

· Conduct sales presentations in a face-to-face manner and group selling.
· Develop new or revisit current client databases and build prospects or sales leads in target manufacturing industries including fashion, home, footwear, handicraft, and hardware industries.
· Research and be ready to get well-informed with export markets, consult clients on new market trends, export marketing development, and utilize the internal database system to facilitate sales and client service process
· Encounter sales loop/ cycle including studying new products, analyzing markets, using a database, filtering prospects, call-cold, visiting factories, and motivating them to use Global Sources&039; services including overseas tradeshows and online/ internet-based B2B platforms.
· Be comfortable being guided by business targets and work with the team to roll out strategies to achieve business objectives as a whole.

Client Service, Periodical Training and Others (20% focus)

· Establish long-term relationships with exporters and importers and other trade partners. This includes understanding their needs to consult/ support clients when necessary.
· Be ready to travel out of Vietnam i.e., to Hong Kong Global Sources’ tradeshow.
· Implement and support collaborative projects with governmental bodies and industrial associations when necessary.
· Communicate and coordinate with cultural-diverse colleagues around the world regarding event logistics, operation-related tasks, planning, and training.
· Be sufficiently trained and practice to provide export- and marketing- related training workshops to clients when necessary.
· Be ready to be fully equipped and trained with product and company knowledge, and other necessary skills to help you achieve your business targets and objectives as mentioned above.

Have minimum 2 years of Business Development experience.
Have completed college/ university level of education.
Live in Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh city
Fluent in English (professional level) and optionally Chinese (Mandarin).
Comfortable bringing your own laptop to work
