JOB SUMMARY:
The role will work across all operational segments as well as the Human Resources, IT, and Finance Departments to collate data from various sources and report back the analysis
Using an appropriate balance of commercial acumen, critical thinking, behavioral observations, and data analytics the Financial & Operations Analyst will provide and present recommendations for continuous improvement.
The Business Analyst role at MiTek will primarily be involved in strategically analyzing a range of customer and business information to ensure the most efficient, productive, and effective decision- making is being undertaken by the business in relation to people, workflow, and sales processes.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TYPICAL ACTIVITIES
• Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics for customer reporting, KPI reporting
and sales reporting
• Scenario testing and sensitivity analysis
• Provide analytical forecasting to the Senior Management Team (SMT)
• Research possible solutions that will help improve operational and financial performance
• Other reasonable duties as requested
• Support company projects with in- depth analysis of current systems and performance metrics and modeling of proposed improvements through the process and behavioral changes
• Develop spreadsheet & BI tool dashboards to assist with management decision- making
Job requirements
• Expert- level Excel spreadsheet skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey analytical findings using a variety of methods.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role, involving data analysis, reporting, and modeling using Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI for creating visually compelling reports and dashboards.
• Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis.
• University degree in Mathematics, Accounting, or a relevant field.
