Business Intelligence Analyst

Position Overview:
This position offers an open opportunity to work with a variety of sophisticated tools such as BigQuery, PowerBI, ArcGIS, Marketing Cloud, ERP, and CRM systems. Furthermore, you&039;ll delve into complex datasets including customer profiles, digital footprints, transactions, inventory, and financial data to deliver essential insights for informed decision- making. As a Junior Analytic Engineer, your role leverages both data analytics and engineering skills to ensure efficient data operations through data modeling, analysis and the development of data pipelines and supporting tools
Key Responsibilities:
Build and Maintain BI Reporting System:
Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support business operations.
Design, develop, and implement BI solutions to support various departments, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Collaborate with Data Engineers to design, maintain, and stabilize ETL pipelines.
Maintain up- to- date documentation of data sources, methodologies, and processes.
Ensure data quality and consistency across all reports and analysis.
Collaborate with Data Engineers onData Management (Data Storage, Data Integration)
Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Data Engineering
Support Strategic Planning and Decision Making:
Assist in monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of stores, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
Assist in monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
Provide support in delivering data- driven insights to aid in strategic initiatives, such as market analysis, customer segmentation, and product performance evaluation.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
0- 2 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role, preferably in the retail industry.
Basic understanding of Data Engineering, such as knowledge of ETL Flows and centralized data management.
Technical Skills:
Intermediate SQL skills and familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).
Experience in reading API documentation and testing APIs using tools like Postman is a plus.
Intermediate proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
Experience with BI/analytics/statistics tools
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
Basic technical/functional knowledge in data systems (GCP, AWS, Azure)
Soft Skills:
Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey data insights to non- technical stakeholders.
Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast- paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
