YOUR ROLE
As a Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Specialist, you will be responsible for the end- to- end operation of payroll, statutory insurance, personal income tax, and employee benefits for BOX Vietnam. The role requires not only strong C&B execution skills but also the ability to communicate and coordinate with stakeholders on C&B- related matters.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, confidentiality, and consistency across all compensation and benefits processes.
Payroll Operations
● Generate payslips and support employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits.
● Prepare payroll summaries and payment requests for HR Manager review and approval.
● Collect, review, and consolidate monthly payroll inputs (timesheets, OT, allowances, bonuses/deductions, salary adjustments, leave records, advances, etc.).
● Maintain payroll files and ensure confidentiality of employee compensation data.
● Execute monthly payroll accurately and on time in accordance with internal timelines and approval flows.
Statutory Compliance (Social Insurance & Personal Income Tax)
● Handle social insurance processes: enrollment, termination, data adjustments, book closing, and statutory benefit claims as assigned.
● Ensure all C&B activities comply with Vietnamese labor, insurance, and tax regulations.
● Manage PIT- related tasks: tax code registration, dependent registration, PIT withholding tracking, issuance of withholding certificates, and support annual PIT finalization.
Benefits Administration & Policy Support
● Support the development, review, and standardization of C&B policies, procedures, and SOPs.
● Ensure consistent application of compensation and benefits across employee levels and contract types.
● Administer company benefits programs (insurance, health check- ups, allowances, internal benefits, etc.) in accordance with company policies.
Reporting & Data Management
● Prepare basic C&B reports (headcount, payroll cost summary, allowance tracking) as requested.
● Properly archive C&B documents to ensure traceability and audit readiness.
● Maintain accurate C&B data on HR systems and Google Sheets using provided templates.
QUALIFICATIONS
● Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Law, or related fields.
● Solid understanding of Vietnamese labor law, insurance, and tax regulations related to C&B.
● Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookup functions, data reconciliation).
● Minimum 02 years of hands- on experience in C&B (payroll, social insurance, PIT).
● Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
● High attention to detail, strong sense of confidentiality, and good time management.
● Good English proficiency: able to read/write emails and participate in work discussions.
