Cage Supervisor

The Cage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations within the cage department, ensuring the accuracy and security of cash transactions, and providing excellent customer service. This position plays a key role in managing cage staff, maintaining compliance with all gaming regulations, and contributing to the overall financial integrity of the casino operations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in cash handling and supervisory roles, preferably within a casino or financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate the cage staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
Coordinate with the Assistant Cage Manager and other casino departments to ensure smooth operation of the cage and compliance with financial procedures.
Supervise the day- to- day operations of the cage, ensuring efficient and secure handling of cash transactions, including exchanges, payouts, and deposits.
Participate in audits and inventory checks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial controls.
Monitor cash levels to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet the operational needs of the casino.
Resolve customer and staff issues related to cage operations, providing timely and effective solutions.
Implement and enforce internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and safeguard against errors and fraud.
Prepare reports on cage operations, transactions, and discrepancies, as required by casino management and regulatory agencies.

Requirement:

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance requirements related to cage operations.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Strong understanding of cash handling procedures and experience managing financial transactions.
High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Proficient in the use of financial software and systems relevant to cage operations.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role within cage operations, casino environment, or financial services.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
