CATEGORY MANAGER

Category management:

Propose category plans to deliver revenue and margins targets.
Propose assortment strategy and implement assortment building plan.
Tracking performance and reporting.
Managing performance of category assigned to ensure KPIs are met.
Research market & competitors to propose effective monthly, weekly, and daily promotions, and effectively communicate to cross- functional departments.

Suppliers’ management:

Managing relationships with partnership suppliers.
Approaching brands and proposing Joint Business Plans based on understanding of business model, portfolio, pricing policy, trade terms, and long- term win- win partnership.
Tracking suppliers’ performance comprehensively and frequently to propose initiatives to strengthen partnerships and develop category performance.
Propose potential brands to partner with based on know- how of industry and comprehensive market research.

Trade marketing management:

Developing and executing a Trade Marketing Plan aligned with business objectives and managing the Trade Marketing budget
Propose activations with brands and work with stakeholders to implement BTL/Trade campaigns.
Review and evaluate activity on all trade marketing program and activities for effectiveness and efficiency.
Utilize brand and communication materials effectively and according to brand guidelines.
Analyze competitors, price audits, and analyze market trends to identify business development opportunities.

Ability to catch up quickly with the market&039;s price and trend
Trade marketing or trade engagement function.
Minimum 5 years experience in Category Management within the FMCG sector, or Retail/ Wholesale/ Trading with prior experience in supervising a small team
Comfortable with uncertainty- the role will evolve according to business needs
Strong analytical & interpersonal skills
Fast learner & capable of adapting to new challenges.Advanced negotiation and communication skills
Result- oriented mindset & high ownership
Proficiency in English is a plus.
