As a Category Manager- you will lead a team of category managers, overseeing several product categories. This role is crucial for curating a compelling assortment of brands and products, driving revenue through strategic product selection, brand/supplier partnerships, commercial terms management, and optimizing category performance.
Assortment Manager leads the team of Assortment Management, reports to the Head of Melive. It is a mid- level managerial position.
Key Responsibilities
In this critical role, you&039;ll leverage your expertise to:
Deal- making ability Contract Management: Negotiate and manage commercial terms and contracts with commercial partners and supply chain partners, ensuring favorable terms for Melive.
Build a robust team, and manage collaborative and goal- oriented team culture, tracking & support long term growth team member performance
Product Innovation: Lead and facilitate the development of appealing, and potential for high- volume products, through either new product sourcing or creative combination.
Product Selection Strategy and Brand Growth: Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies for product portfolio, brand and seller partnerships, ensuring alignment with Melive’s objectives.
Brand Acquisition and Onboarding: Identify, acquire, and onboard new brands and sellers, setting the foundation for successful partnerships.
Collaboration with the Partnership and Operations teams to establish a clear roadmap for a successful workflow.
Engagement and Retention: Foster strong relationships with brands and sellers, implementing strategies to retain and grow these partnerships.
Commercial and Category Performance: Oversee and drive monthly and quarterly GMV/Revenue targets, as well as growth in each product category. Annual forecast planning based on targets and business growth
Come up with initiatives to continuously improve competitiveness advantage for Head meLive.
Training: Provide essential brand/product training to internal teams, enhancing their ability to market and sell effectively.
