We are a dynamic game startup seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technical development and innovation. As the CTO, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our company by driving cutting- edge technology solutions and building a high- performing engineering team.
Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
Oversee the development and implementation of innovative game technologies.
Ensure the technical feasibility of new game concepts and features.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
Provide strategic technical leadership and vision for the company&039;s technology roadmap.
Team Management:
Foster a collaborative and high- performance work culture.
Recruit, hire, and develop a talented team of engineers.
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.
Manage team performance and project timelines.
Technology Infrastructure:
Collaborate with other departments to integrate technology solutions.
Ensure the scalability and reliability of our systems.
Design, implement, and maintain the company&039;s technology infrastructure.
Product Development:
Work closely with product managers to define and execute the technical vision for new games.
Ensure the timely delivery of high- quality game products.
Partnerships and Collaborations:
Build and maintain relationships with technology partners and vendors.
Explore opportunities for strategic partnerships and collaborations.
Job Requirement
Qualifications:
A passion for gaming and a strong understanding of the gaming industry.
Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Deep understanding of game development technologies and pipelines.
Proven track record of building and leading successful engineering teams.
Strong technical skills in programming languages, game engines, and cloud platforms.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
A strong understanding of mobile game development.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
Experience with data analytics and machine learning.
Experience in startup environments.
