SALES MANAGER
• Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
• Conducts daily sales calls and arrange site inspection trips to hotels/parks/golf by corporate clients.
• Clear understanding of the hotels/parks/golf business strategies then set goals and to determine action plans to meet those goals.
• Targeting key accounts potential for the company.
• Able to provide quick and timely responses, immediate communication to the properties, develop professional long term business relationships.
• Acquiring and developing new business accounts and preparing sales proposals for clients.
• Update action plans and financial objectives quarterly.
• Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Participates in sales calls with members of sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.
• Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales.
• Attending all department and hotels/parks/golf meetings as necessary.
• Closely following up on all business leads within a 24 hour response time line to clients.
• Implements all sales action plans related to my market areas as outlined in the marketing plan.
• Represent hotels/parks/golf in various events and exhibition.
• Responsible for Sales for the Hotels/Parks/Golf.
• Accompany sales team on sales calls to potential clients to assist in development of the account and to access the effectiveness and sales skills of the sales person.
• Work closely with Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotels/parks/golf.
• Assess additional training needs based on data gathered and interaction with sales team from property visits.
• Develops relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.
• Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
• Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g. CVGR, generating proposal, Corporate Rate Application letter, writing contract, customer correspondence).
• Able to supports hotels/parks/golf service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
• Develop strong relationships with on property front office team to ensure working in unity and always striving to achieve the same goals.
SALES EXECUTIVE
• Ensure comprehensive and complete coverage of own portfolio, covering all levels of accounts’ managerial and departmental executives for a comprehensive client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity
• Ensure comprehensive and up to date knowledge of properties’ unique selling points, features, amenities, services and policies
• Ensure that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximize up selling opportunities whenever possible
• Solicit and serve transient and group business and meetings
• Provide feedback on changing marketing conditions, including trends in the competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone and / or direct mail.
• Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales
• Formulate corporate offer letters and yearly contracts and any other required business correspondence
• Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed targets set
